Playgroup
At Little Stars, our Playgroup program is thoughtfully designed to ensure the child’s first experience of school shapes their attitude toward learning. Our program offers the perfect balance between structured learning and purposeful play where children can explore, create, and think critically while engaging with others and their environment. These experiences underpin learning and development across all areas, supporting children to become motivated and effective learners.
Children also learn through a wide range of enriching activities, including creative play, gardening, cooking, arts and crafts, yoga, music, dance, movement, and outdoor exploration. Early foundations of numeracy and literacy are gently introduced alongside the development of essential social skills such as sharing, assertiveness, and respectful communication within safe boundaries.
Our Playgroup program embraces a student-led approach, giving children opportunities to make choices, explore their interests, and take ownership of their learning, nurturing motivated, curious, and capable learners from the very start.

Our Kindergarten program offers a rich, stimulating learning environment that supports children’s holistic development. Learning is guided by inquiry and intentional play-based experiences that encourage children to explore, investigate, and think creatively.
We offer learning experiences that actively engage children and support development across key areas, including communication and language, early literacy, numeracy, social-emotional growth, and physical development. Through meaningful, hands-on activities, children build a strong foundation in number concepts, early writing skills, and problem-solving.
By nurturing curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning, our Kindergarten program prepares children to transition smoothly into primary education as independent, capable, and motivated learners.
